Mutual Trust Pty Ltd was established by the Baillieu family over
50 years ago to provide financial administration services including
accounting, taxation and trustee services to the Baillieu family.
Over the years a number of other family groups have been invited
to join us.
Today, Mutual Trust is a unique "Family Office" with
significant funds under administration for a small number of families.
It remains a "client" driven company, providing services
to clients in a personal, caring and confidential manner. Mutual
Trust reinvests its profits into improved administration technology,
new staff and training.
Mutual Trust is a private company owned and directed by various
groups of the Baillieu family and their associates. We deliver
services of a kind, in a manner and at a price that cannot be
obtained elsewhere in the industry. Direct and regular contact
between clients and individual staff members is a feature of the
services enjoyed by all. We also feature the ability to “fine
tune" our services to meet the individual requirements of
any client - large or small.
Mutual Trust prides itself on helping to maintain and grow assets
within families and specialises in administering family run businesses,
advising on investments in shares and helping with succession
planning. Integrated budgets and financial reporting services
are provided and clients' longer-term investment strategies are
periodically reviewed. Longstanding relationships exist with external
specialists who are employed to assist clients with specific investment
planning, taxation and business management decisions as required.
